Pedals and Paddles in the Bay

Exactly five years ago to the day, this was the unusual view on 10th Avenue in my town. The children were having a blast riding as fast and as far as they dared, towards the edge of solid ground.

Perhaps the kayaker was worried they would go too far before putting on the brakes. For my part, I was simply delighted to have casually wandered onto the scene in time to witness the happy spring event.

Today, we would all like Old Man Winter to give us a break!
