Splashes of Colour

Truth be told, I’m sure they are not splashes, but rather sprays. But who can be sure? Who’s watching? I’m guessing no one, but then what do I know?
I often wonder at the talent/time/expense/energy involved in these creative endeavours. For these artists, the space under the bridge is their canvas. And I, for one, don’t mind.
What about you? How do you feel about graffiti?

Amazing! At first I thought it was a collage/mixed media painting, and if so, it would have been recognized as a fine art piece. Colours and textures, the clever integration of texts and images, the balance and composition (although this latter aspect could as well be your super photography skills!). I don’t mind at all seeing these “canvases” in public places. In fact, I’m often enchanted.

I have seen some of these ‘trestle’ masterpieces and agree that the talent is amazing! Who’s to say it’s NOT art?
